The Interbank Monetary Group of Central Africa (GIMAC) has announced the end of the term of its Director General, Valentin Alphonse MBOZO’O, which occurred on April 4, 2026, after fourteen years of service at the head of the institution.
The Management Committee commended his major contribution to the development and consolidation of GIMAC’s activities, particularly in strengthening regional financial integration and modernizing payment services in Central Africa.
Pending the appointment of a new Director General, Guy Noël LONDONGO has been designated to serve as interim head of the institution.
GIMAC reaffirms its commitment to continue the efforts undertaken with all stakeholders in the sector in order to consolidate achievements and accelerate growth and innovation prospects in the regional financial ecosystem.
