FAQ QR Code

The merchant QR code is a link to a page that allows you to securely validate a payment. This security is provided either through a dedicated payment application or through an e-commerce payment page.

The GIMAC QR Code is an interoperable payment method that allows merchants to receive payments from customers with bank or mobile wallets from different participants in the CEMAC region using a single QR Code image displayed at the point of sale.

  • From your mobile or bank wallet, scan the GPAY QR code displayed by the merchant with your mobile phone.
  • Enter the amount and confirm the transaction.
  • The merchant instantly receives the money in their bank or mobile wallet, just like any cash payment.
  • Both the customer and the merchant are notified of the transaction.

Payment for Value-Added Services

Mobile service that allows you to pay your taxes, water and electricity bills from your mobile or bank account.

Your mobile operator or bank must be a member of the GIMACPAY ecosystem. The service is available from your mobile and bank wallets.

  • Select the bill service (1- Electricity, 2- Water, 3- Canal+, 4- Taxes)
  • Enter the bill reference number or taxpayer number
  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer
  • Enter the password you set up to confirm the transaction

All your sender needs to do is enter your details on the app or platform of one of our aggregators from which they wish to transfer money to you. You will instantly receive a message on your mobile.
